    Author: Sky Pham

    Trinh (Sky) Pham was born in Sai Gon, Vietnam. He received the High School Diploma at Wellington College, New Zealand (2010). Sky graduated with the Finance degree at California State University, Fullerton. He is the CEO of the Kien Nam Group, LLC. He has been a volunteer for the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce (VACOC) since 2013 and is currently a member of the VACOC Government Affairs Committee. Sky interned at Orange County Board of Supervisor Michelle Steel, District 2 last year. Sky has developed the skills that can contribute to his passion in changing the world. He was selected as the President of the CSUF Honor Society for International Scholars (Phi Beta Delta), a Board Member of United Nations Association-USA Young Professional of Orange County and the Chief Executive of Ban Tay Nhan Ai Foundation (Compassionate Hands Foundation). He has had experience as IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant) Site Coordinator, and Director of Administration of the Community Service Inter-Council Clubs at CSUF (CSICC) and President of CSUF Students Recycle, Director of Community Service Inter-Council Clubs, CSUF Students Recycle President. As a Volunteer and Site Coordinator for VITA for three tax seasons with more than 170 hours, his position allowed him to lead and help many colleagues from beginning level to advanced level with their tax laws questions and Vietnamese translations and help to the low-income families to get their tax back. Sky has also raised money for Toiletries drives, Sleeping Bag drives, Trick or Cans Food drive, Vietnamese Orphan Kids in Vietnam. It was a movement to end hunger in our lifetime. More than 100 volunteers helped reach the goal to package 10,000+ meals on September 28th, 2014 and 20,000+ in December 28th, 2015. Everybody was willing to work hard together to create a world without hunger. The Students Recycle Club received a “Titan in Action Award” from CSUF. This award recognized Community Service is as an expressed component of club mission. His story and experience were shared to the Orange County community through his article “Student Recycle Club combines education and stewardship” on the OC Register.) In 2015, Sky graduated from the Superior Court of California, County of Orange Leadership Academy. Sky believes that every action counted, and that we all have to make small efforts or nothing would ever change. Sky looking forward to creating more changes to make the world become a better place.
