Trinh graduated with the Finance degree at California State University, Fullerton and MBA at Ohio University. Trinh currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration focus in Banking, Corporate Finance and Securities Law at Liberty University. In 2015, Trinh graduated from the Superior Court of California, County of Orange Leadership Academy. He is currently serving as the CEO of the Kien Nam Group LLC (Property management company), president of Greenfield & Associates CPA and Adivisory Board Member of California International Bank.

In the community, Trinh is very active in community serving in leadership roles as the president of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Westminster and Chief Executive Officer of Ban Tay Nhan Ai (Compassionate Hands Foundation) in Garden Grove and board member of the Vietnamese American Uniformed Services Association (VAUSA). Prior leadership roles also include involvement as the committee member of the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce (VACOC), and CSUF Phi Beta Delta, and CSUF Entrepreneur Society and United Nations Association of Orange County. Annually, Trinh has raised money for Toiletries drives, Sleeping Bag drives, Trick or Cans Food drive for local homeless. Trinh has a passion to end hunger worldwide. More than 100 volunteers helped reach the goal to package 10,000+ meals on September 28th, 2014 and 20,000+ in December 28th, 2015. Everybody was willing to work hard together to create a world without hunger. Trinh received a “Titan in Action Award” from CSUF. This award recognized Community Service is as an expressed component of club mission. His story and experience were shared to the Orange County community through his article “Student Recycle Club combines education and stewardship” on the OC Register. In 2022, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Westminster in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach serving over 230 soldiers and family members during the 79th TSC Resource Family Day at JFTB Los Alamitos, CA. Over the years, Trinh has developed the skills that can contribute to his passion in making our community a better place.

Sky has developed his leadership skills throughout several activities locally and globally, such as:

  • President of the CSUF Honor Society for International Scholars (Phi Beta Delta)
  • President of Kiwanis Club of Greater Westminster
  • Board Member of United Nations Association-USA Young Professional of Orange County
  • Chief Executive Officer of the Compassionate Hands Foundation.
  • Policy and Legislative Affairs internship at Orange County Board of Supervisor Michelle Steel, District 2.
  • IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant) Site Coordinator.
  • Director of Administration of the Community Service Inter-Council at CSUF (CSICC).
  • President of CSUF Students Recycle.
  • Event founder for Toiletries drives, Sleeping Bag drives, Trick or Cans Food drive, Vietnamese Orphan Kids in Vietnam. It was a movement to end hunger in our lifetime. More than 100 volunteers helped reach the goal to package 10,000+ meals on September 28th, 2014 and 20,000+ in December 28th, 2015.
  • Sky received “Titan in Action Award” from CSUF. This award recognized Community Service is as an expressed component of club mission.

  • In 2014, the Office of the State Senate, Lou Correa recognized Sky for exemplary leadership, community involvement, dedication and commitment in Orange County, California.
  • In 2020, the member of Congress Alan Lowenthal recognized Sky for the election of the newly chartered Kiwanis Club of Greater Westminster. He thanked Sky for his commitment to serve the youth and community.
  • In 2o22, Sky was elected as the President of Kiwanis Club of Greater Westminster
  • In 2023, the member of Congress Michelle Steel, the former President Trump’s advisor, recognized Sky for his commitment and continuous dedication to the City of Westminster and its residents.

Sky believes that every action counts, and that we all have to make small efforts or nothing would ever change. Sky is looking forward to creating more changes to make the world become a better place. As he always believes, “What we do today, right now, will have an accumulated effect on all of our tomorrows!”
